July 9th, 2007Worry is Like a Rocking Chair
The comfortable office chair that I expressed a desire for in this post, has been upgraded. Or downgraded, contingent upon how you choose to look at it. I no longer desire a comfortable office chair. I simply desire a safe one. Alright, and comfortable, but safe takes precedence. And then comfort.
The additional problem is that this is not a new problem. It’s an every three years problem. A like clock-work problem. A problem that has landed me on my ba-donk-a-donk before. I guess a new slot to my list of eighty three problems has been filled. I’m afraid to find out what will happen when I replace the chair?
However, as a bonus, I used ‘ba-donk-a-donk’ in a blog post. My blog can at least die happy!

Ouch.
By the way I felt like an idiot reading your book meme since I only knew one of those books-Cat’s Eye. I love Margaret Atwood.

Heh, I’ve had a few ‘ouch’ moments lately, haven’t I? Don’t feel like an idiot, I pick up a lot of stuff I wouldn’t normally look at while browsing on Paperbackswap and QPB.

This is an every 2 year problem here. A twitchy TS kid in a swivel chair with wheels can be a deadly combination. We bought a “good” chair last year, thinking it would last longer. WRONG!
It’s weird, but the plastic wheel base NEVER breaks. It’s always the metal parts that fail.

Yeah, it’s pretty sad that plastic holds up better than pot metal. I’ve been tempted to get a ‘good’ chair, but worry that it won’t last any longer. Now I see that they don’t.
