January 25th, 2008The Part of Fives
Five minutes to yourself:
I always have five minutes to myself, so it’s difficult to answer this one. Maybe just to kick back and zone out. That’s something I don’t often do, but it’s always nice.
Five bucks to spend right now: how would you spend it?
A magazine, baby!
Five items in your house you could part with, right now, that you hadn’t thought of already?
Raul, Maddy, Meg, Max and Jazz. NO! You don’t really think I could part with one of my cats, do you?
Five items you absolutely, positively could never part with in your house?
Raul, Maddy, Meg, Max and Jazz. There, that’s better.
Five words you love?
Floccinaucinihilipilification. Aesthetic. Botanical. Caterwaul. Cthulhu.
All for various reasons.

Z wanted a Cthulu statue for Christmas…FIFTY BUCKS!…I don’t think so…
He does have a plush figure from “Alien”. It’s the thing that jumps out of the pod and attaches to the character’s face. How sweet and cuddly is THAT? *shudder*

Cthulu and I go back a long time. If Ron Paul doesn’t win the primary, I think I’ll just vote for Cthulu. Can’t do any worse than the ass clowns running.
Magazines? My guilty pleasure. I take my wife to the chiropractor and just sit and read magazines. I sometimes pick up women’s magazines. Hey, the models are hot.
And I’ll have to look up your first and fourth word. Didn’t have those words in Word Power Made Easy.

tshsmom, a plush figure from “Alien”? Once Dan sees this he’ll have to have one. A while ago I got him a plush ebola virus.
ZS, I’m thinking it’s going to be a write-in year for me, too. Cthulu is as good a candidate as any.
One of my favourite Firefox extensions is Answer Tips. Once it’s installed you just hold down the Alt key and click on a word you don’t know. It pops up a bubble and tells you all about it.
