I still can’t believe I switched to Wordpress. I figured, Blogger is cheap and easy, why switch. Then I thought, why not? I was surprised at how easy the install went, and I didn’t even use Fantastico’s one-touch install. I was also surprised at how easy Wordpress imported my posts from Blogger. I didn’t expect it to import photos, but it did.
It may take a while to find a theme that I like, and even more time to figure out how to tweak it, but I figured out Blogger, I can figure out Wordpress.
I think I’m going to spend the rest of the day geeking out on plug-ins!

Welcome to WordPress, Courtney! Very well done! Have fun checking out themes and then probably modifying them to suit you. That’s my favourite part. And the plug-ins! Wow! If I didn’t have Bruce to hold me back…. There’s no tellin’! LOL

I’ve been using WP going on 4 years now. Would never look back. Have fun customizing with the themes and plugins.
I see you got your own domain name as well. Now all you need to do is turn on the Permalinks. :;

Bruce, the title of the post leads to a permalink, but I don’t know how to get the link at the bottom of the post with the rest of the information. Gimmie time, though, there’s nothing I can’t figure out!

Thanks again, ya’ll. Actually David, after seeing Wordpress for Dummies on Better Living Through Blogging I ordered a copy, read it on Saturday and switched on Sunday. So, you get a little bit of credit.

I love it. I like it so much better than blogger. I can’t go back to blogger now.
Nice theme too. It just works. It’s simple, and elegant. My God. That sounds like a bad commercial instead of a compliment. My bad.
