I love having some bread in my pocket for the ‘moochers’. Here they are usually Canada Geese or ducks. A lot of parks have signs asking visitors *not* to feed the birds. Back home in Ontario we are overrun with seagulls. It’s always fun to go to the park with odds and ends from the kitchen and watch them go ever so slightly crazy with you release the foodstuffs! Great fun! I was out today taking photos of the geese and ducks on the Metro Park pond nearby. I think they make good camera subjects. Your photo is bee-ooo-tiful to me.
When we were kids, my mother used to take us to a duck pond. That same duck pond now has signs all over it that say that we’re not allowed to feed the ducks and it’s a fine if we do.

Definitely one of my favorite things to do in Kalispell, feeding the ducks and geese at Woodland Park.

So true. Seagulls are the biggest moochers here. Only they poop on your head. So I prefer the ducks.
