My Dendrobium Orchid that blooms regularly.

This is actually two Christmas Cactuses that I repotted in one pot. There’s currently one, lonely little bloom. It never blooms all over (either plant).

Kim says that they need to be exposed to coldish temperatures in the fall in order to bloom well. You can force a second bloom by putting them in a cool place after they have finished blooming. And if they have the pointy edges on the leaves they are not true Christmas Cactuses they are actually another variety called a Thanksgiving Cactus. True Christmas Cactuses have sort of roundly scalloped edges on the leaves.

My Christmas cactus only had one bloom also. It had a lot of buds that fell off…but only one bloom. I think that it got cold when it was being transported after I bought it.
