October 19th, 2007Still Life
Alright, so the photos are less than stellar, but this is the first real still life I’ve done in my drawing class. The white tone isn’t quite as bright as it looks in the photo. This is charcoal and conté crayon on a brown paper that I don’t remember the name of.

Very, very good, Courtney. I’d be proud to display that on my wall. You have talent.

That’s actually quite good. You draw much better than I do, and you do it the old fashioned way instead of cheating like I do (the initial piece on paper, scan it in, then edit the rest with software).
And like Nick, I’d have it on my wall too.

Thanks for the feedback. I haven’t drawn in so long, so it’s nice to hear that I’m kinda okay at it.

I love it Courtney. I’m jealous…I haven’t drawn in a long time either so I know that feeling.
