I bet that he has a favorite pen that writes at the perfect speed too! I say those are delightful notebooks. A pen holder too. They don’t sell those fancy notebooks down here, its is still strickly spiral.

Yes, he does have a preferred pen, too. Papermate doesn’t make it anymore, so he hoardes the ones he has. Actually, I have a lot of notebooks, too. But, I have places for them, and they’re mostly written in, and they don’t all have to be the same. It’s mostly just fun to tease him. So, don’t worry, I’m not accusing any of you of being nutters.
