March 1st, 2007Lightning Bunny Gummy Candy
There are two important questions here: Do kids really get a kick out of illuminating their candy? And why did I buy them?
I tried to take a photo of the candy lit up, needless to say, it didn’t come out too well.

Flaming Gummy Bears on your grocery shelves now. For ages 3 and up…there’s something strangely disturbing about that.

I have to agree. I mean I have a six year old and an almost three year old. LOL… They like candy but I would never buy candy that lights up for them. YIKES… What has this world come to with candy and everything else. LOL.. You second question was to warn us mothers that there is something out there like that where we arent tempted to try it.

Heh heh… Tweetey, the trick is in the tongs — a hidden bulb that lights up when you put pressure on them, so the candy is totally safe!
As far as gummy candy goes, which I enjoy, they were kinda blah. Not a lot of flavour.

High fructose corn syrup is NOT Z’s friend, so I think I’ll pass on these.
