Trust me, wait until the end!
Trust me, wait until the end!
I had to have this. I practically demanded that Dan buy it for me. The cats are not fans.
I haven’t posted a video in a while (aside from the penguins), so here’s Dan and Max playing Don’t-Swat-the-Finger-or-it-will-Bring-its-Friends last night. I have no idea what we were watching, so I can’t tell you what the background sound is.
For my last Thursday Thirteen, I listed my thirteen favourite actors, which ended with the Geico Gecko. Many commenter’s were not aware of who this great actor is, as his work is mainly seen here in the US. So, for the non-US viewing public, I submit…
The Illustrious Geico Gecko:
Dan must have been watching Supergroup on VH1.
This is also not the video I thought it was, but hey, it’ll do.
I’m still low on material, but I have since moved all photo files from CD to Hard drive. Before, I was using my own make shift filing system to organize photos, which was just fine. However, I’m finding that Adobe Photoshop Album is great. It’s nice to just right-click and save a photo to a collection, and then go into a collection and organize tags.
Have a great Monday!
Ginny’s Box Turtle, Boxie, decided he wanted to take a tour of the house. After she went to the trouble of putting a weighted screen over his enclosure, he still found a way out. And doesn’t he look proud of himself?

This is a dinosaur plant. This first photo is right out of the box (and in the upper, left corner you can see the dumbest Betta in the world), the second is an hour later.

A close up of a Geranium from Ginny’s garden.
Wild Lupines. These were near Flathead Lake.
A video of Solomon I took this evening. I guess I’m feeling guilty because I listed the cats and dogs with Catster and Dogster, but there is no Birdster to list Solomon with. At the end you can see just how much Solomon lurves me. When a bird regurgitates, it’s sort of Psittacine Foreplay. Ewww… (Edit: I’ve been playing “Black Horse and a Cherry Tree,” by KT Tunstall a few times, if you haven’t heard this song, check it out, Solomon highly recommends it!)
I’ve posted a similar video for download a loooong time ago, but this is cute also. I’ve been a litle bummed lately, and these always cheer me up.
On Monday, Dan and I went to the Hungry Horse Dam and Reservoir. We were halfway between Kalispell and Columbia Falls before I realized I was still wearing my flip-flops and forgot to put my hiking boots on. So our original intent to go hiking turned into mucking about.
Edit: If the ‘play’ icon in the center of the video doesn’t work, try the one in the bottom, left.
