This lil guy followed his mom all over Woodland Park on Wednesday (his mom, in turn, followed us all over Woodland Park), but he sure did toddle the whole time.

To be fair, there are two ducks in this photo; one male, one female, both beautiful. Click on the photo for a better view.
This is Dan’s favorite duck, and I have to admit, I’m quite fond of the shy li’l meals birds, myself. While feeding ducks and geese at Woodland park, we had to fight off seagulls galore. But we were quite happy that these two got a few pieces of whole wheat bread.
Do you know what kind of ducks these are? Can you tell me about their duckling rearing? What else can you tell me about them? There is no prize, but you’ll be glad you learned about them.
