In good news, it seems that the Meriwether and Skyland fires are on their way to containment. In bad news, the Black Cat fire was recently spotted and nearby residents are being evacuated. Cross your fingers that fellow Montana blogger (and all around awesome chica), Patia won’t be one of the evacuees. The Black Cat fire is currently about 350 acres, but has the potential to grow rapidly.

Today: 08.03.07

One last edit: This smoke is probably from the Skyland Fire.

Yesterday: 08.02.07

You may be able to tell that today the smoke from area wildfires was not as ‘thick’ as it was yesterday. However, NW Montana still smells like a Pine-sol factory.

Blech!
