The Full of Flowers Matchbox fill that was sent to me.

For Christmas I got a gift card for Borders. Surprise! They didn’t have the book I wanted, but Amazon did. I ordered this at the end of December, and it got here today. This little book and shipping took out the entirety of my gift card, too.

Cute stickers, gel pens and a Tatty Teddy Notepad.
Hey, it’s better than bills, isn’t it?

I really, for the life of me, can’t think of anything else to post. I took a few pictures of some matchboxes that I decorated and filled for a few Swap-bot swaps. And, no, all of that stuff does not fit into a matchbox.

For the All Pink Matchbox Fill.

Both from the Full of Flowers Matchbox Fill. I covered the flower on top with a 3-D glaze that dries clear, so the flower looks porcelian-esque (even though you can’t tell from the picture).

I was going to post these in December, but I just didn’t get around to it. I’m participating in a swap-bot, traveling camera swap. If you’re not familiar with this concept, a disposable camera is sent from person to person, each snapping a photo of their own desire, and then sending it along to the next person. Eventually when the cameras are full, they’re sent back to the originator and developed. The photos are then displayed online for all to see. I decided to take a trip up to Hungry Horse Dam and Reservoir to take my photo, and took a few of my own. Well, a couple. It was cooooold!!!

This is the dragon I coloured for a swap. It’s from the Dover colouring book: Dragons by Christy Shaffer. Click it to see the larger version.

It’s great to get mail that isn’t, well, you know… bills. I participated in the sock it to me swap on Swap-Bot, and today I recieved two packages. One was from Karyn in Ohio and it contained cute Santa socks, the other was from Dieuwertje in Germany and had some Snoopy Argyle socks. My first swap on the site didn’t go so well. I sent my items to my partner, but the person who was supposed to send items to me turned out to be a slacker. So Karyn and Dieuwertje have made me rethink not participating in any future swaps!
