Just a few cheesy quizzes to get myself into the Halloween spirit…

Your Vampire Name Is…

Antionette of the Far North

What Your Halloween Habits Say About You

You’re a friendly person, but not the life of the party. You like making someone else’s day - and you’ll dress up if you think of a really fun costume.

You definitely think of yourself as someone who has a dark side. And part of having that dark side means not showing it.

Your inner child is open minded, playful, and adventurous.

You truly fear the dark side of humanity. You are a true misanthrope.

You’re logical, rational, and not easily effected. Not a lot scares you… especially when it comes to the paranormal.

You are a total overachiever and workaholic. You’re the type of person who plans their elaborate Halloween costume weeks in advance.

You Are a Werewolf

You’re unpredictable, moody, and downright freaky.

You seem sweet and harmless, until you snap. Then you’re a total monster.

Very few people can predict if you’re going to be Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde.

But for you, all your transformations seem perfectly natural.

Your greatest power: Your ability to tap into nature

Your greatest weakness: Lack of self control

You play well with: Vampires

I’m not quitting, just… blah.

You scored as History/Anthropology/LiberalArts, You should strongly consider majoring (or minoring) in History, Anthropology, or related majors (e.g., African and African-American Studies, Chinese, Classics, Cultural Studies, Economics, English, French, Geography, German, Greek, Hebrew, International Studies, Philosophy, Sociology, Women’s Studies, or other Liberal Arts majors).

It is possible that the best major for you is your 2nd, 3rd, or even 5th listed category, so be sure to consider ALL majors in your OTHER high scoring categories (below). You may score high in a category you didnt think you would–it is possible that a great major for you is something you once dismissed as not for you. The right major for you will be something 1) you love and enjoy and 2) are really great at it.

Consider adding a minor or double majoring to make yourself standout and to combine your interests.

You Are 91% Tortured Genius

You totally fit the profile of a tortured genius. You’re uniquely brilliant - and completely misunderstood.
Not like you really want anyone to understand you anyway. You’re pretty happy being an island.

June 9th, 2007The Part of Threes

I’ve had this meme kicking around for a while in a notepad file. I figured I’d finally fill it out and post it.

Three things that scare me: Centi/Millipedes, deep water and Microsoft.

Three People who make me laugh: Dan, Eddie Izzard and contrary people (I laugh after I’m done banging my head against a wall).

Three things I love: Birds, gadgets and sushi.

Three things I hate: Bigots, movie theaters and, well, Microsoft.

Three things I do not understand: Bigotry, contrariness, the instructions to my new alarm clock.

Three things on my desk: Empty Dr. Pepper can, empty Dr. Pepper can and half-full Dr. Pepper can. Really? GPSr, a Staples fácil button (yes, a fácil and not an easy button), a coaster.

Three things I want to do before I die: Travel, finish college, have a Kobe steak.

Three things I can do: Turn my tongue completely over (sideways), change a tire and I have a unique talent for making girls cry.

Three things I can’t do: Sing, dance or resist a kitten or puppy.

Three things I think you should listen to: Your conscience, instincts and no one else.

Three things you should never listen to: The president, elitists with superiority complexes intent on nothing other than making sure you feel horrible, and the little voice in your head that says, “you can have fun when you retire, until then be a stick in the mud.”

Three things I’d like to learn: Anger management, Irish (language), every logical fallacy by heart.

Three shows I watched as a kid: Smurfs, Facts of Life and… hrmm… I think I watched Diff’rent Strokes.

March 11th, 2007Visual DNA

I saw this on a few blogs and wondered, “what the…??” So I gave it a try. It was actually more fun to see all of the visual options for each category and compare them and my own choices to the choices made by others. So I’d suggest trying it out, otherwise you might be thinking, “what the…??” :D

Stolen, stolen and stolen.

There are two important questions here: Do kids really get a kick out of illuminating their candy? And why did I buy them?

I tried to take a photo of the candy lit up, needless to say, it didn’t come out too well.

February 9th, 2007A Good Mail Day

The Full of Flowers Matchbox fill that was sent to me.

For Christmas I got a gift card for Borders. Surprise! They didn’t have the book I wanted, but Amazon did. I ordered this at the end of December, and it got here today. This little book and shipping took out the entirety of my gift card, too.

Cute stickers, gel pens and a Tatty Teddy Notepad.

Hey, it’s better than bills, isn’t it?

February 6th, 2007Need a Light?

I really, for the life of me, can’t think of anything else to post. I took a few pictures of some matchboxes that I decorated and filled for a few Swap-bot swaps. And, no, all of that stuff does not fit into a matchbox.

For the All Pink Matchbox Fill.

Both from the Full of Flowers Matchbox Fill. I covered the flower on top with a 3-D glaze that dries clear, so the flower looks porcelian-esque (even though you can’t tell from the picture).
