The foliage has been losing its freshness through the month of August, and here and there a yellow leaf shows itself like the first gray hair amidst the locks of a beauty who has seen one season too many. ~Oliver Wendell Holmes
I love watching the tree’s change color each year. I dont neccessarily like winter but I like the change in the colors of each season. Watching the leaves come back in the spring and then in the Fall watch the leaves fall off the tree’s except for having to go rake the yard when they do fall. That is the only job I have realized I dont care for.

Any red colors out there? Our trees here are going to lose their leaves before they turn color if we don’t get some rain.
Wasn’t much color in Gatlinburg last week either.
Pretty pictures none the less.

There’s a little bit of red, but mostly that pale orange.

I don’t get the pretty fall where I live so those colors look good to me. I bet the air smells so fresh where you live.

Oh how I love the fall colours! Yes!
Your photos are gorgeous! I’ve been sitting here for ages staring at first one, then another.
Beee-ooo-tiful!
